About

Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, I finally moved to Nashville in January 2019 after several years of visits and vacations. A bartender by trade, I've always had a knack for tech. From building PC's to writing code and everything in between. As I got older, I found myself more and more interested in software development. That led me to several different free online courses and youtube tutorials. In 2019, I decided that coding was something I thought I could make a career out of but I wanted more professional direction. That's when I found Nashville Software School. I attended an info session at the school in the winter of 2019 with plans to apply for the spring. Unfortunately, Covid-19 had other plans...Fast forward a year and a half however, and I was invited to join Cohort 52! It has been a wonderful experience so far and I look forward to what comes next!

Some of my interests outside of tech include video games, watching hockey (the Preds are alright...Go Wild!) and collecting NHL trading cards. I'm also an avid concert goer.

Nashville Software Speakeasy

This was my client side capstone project at Nashville Software School. It aims to imitate a website for a restaraunt chain where you can chose items from a menu you'd like to order, place that order, and view your order history. It also allows the user to write/edit/delete a post on a review page and view posts written by all users.

Cardalogue | Front End | Back End

This was my back and capstone project and culmination of the full stack web development course at Nashville Software School. It is an application designed for trading card collectors to build an online database of cards and for collectors to keep track of their own collections. This is a full-stack CRUD application built with React, Python, and the Django REST Framework.
